Goodride at a glance

Goodride belongs to Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber, better known as ZC Rubber. The company started out in 1958 as the Hangzhou rubber factory. Over the decades, the state-owned plant grew into China's largest tyre manufacturer and one of the biggest in the world by revenue. Today the company also has factories outside China. Goodride is one of ZC Rubber's main export brands and is sold in many European countries.

ZC Rubber also owns Westlake, Chaoyang, Trazano and Arisun. Goodride tyres are made in China and Thailand. Goodride sits in the budget segment and suits drivers for whom a low price matters most. In Europe, Goodride and its sister brand Westlake often have very similar ranges, because they come out of the same factories.

Goodride's best-known winter tyre in Europe is the SW608 for Central European winters. The Nordic countries also get the IceMaster Spike Z-506 studded tyre. Popular Goodride summer tyres include the SA37 Sport and the Z-107. For year-round driving, Goodride offers the All Season Elite Z-401. There is the SU318 for SUVs and, for vans, models such as the SC328. Model names are often made up of letters and numbers.
