About

TyreRanker is a tyre-test data platform for drivers in the Nordic countries and the Baltics.

We are not a shop

TyreRanker does not sell tyres. Our job is rating tyres: we bring together the results of independent tests and rate them using our own public methodology. The methodology is built on two things – safety and drivers' real-world needs. That is why braking and handling on ice, on snow and on wet roads carry the most weight, but noise, fuel consumption and price are also taken into account, because these are the things a driver notices every day.

How we rate tyres

Behind every score are measured results with their source. The testers' own final ranking is a separate attribute in the overall score. All weightings and calculation rules are public on the methodology page and are the same for every manufacturer and every tyre.

Ownership and commercial relationships

TyreRanker is developed and run by a company in the tyre retail business. In future, tyre pages may include links to offers from partners, including the owner's online shop. These links are always labelled and have no influence on tyre scores or the ranking.

Data sources and copyright

We use factual measured results from tests and compile our own statistics and summaries from them. We do not copy articles or tests. Every result is accompanied by a reference to the original source.
