Laufenn at a glance
Laufenn is Hankook's second brand, unveiled by the South Korean tyre maker at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November 2014. Laufenn was initially sold in the Americas and Asia, reaching Europe in 2015. Within ten years, Laufenn's European market share grew fourfold and its size range expanded to more than 340. Since the 2021/22 season, Laufenn has been an official sponsor of the UEFA Conference League.
Laufenn is wholly owned by Hankook, and its tyres are made in Hankook factories. The brand is priced below Hankook and aimed at drivers who want a major manufacturer's technology at a lower price. Laufenn is a good fit for family cars and everyday town and motorway driving. In Europe the brand also offers van tyres, and since 2025 Laufenn has supplied tyres to a European carmaker for fitment on new cars.
Laufenn model names end in the word FIT. Its winter tyres include the i FIT and i FIT+ for Central European conditions, and the studdable i FIT ICE for the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe. The summer tyres are the S FIT EQ+ and G FIT EQ+, launched in 2020. Anyone looking for an all-season tyre will find the G FIT 4S. Laufenn thus covers every season with one simple naming system.
