Landsail at a glance
Landsail belongs to the Chinese tyre manufacturer Sentury Tire, formerly known as Sentaida. The company's headquarters and main factory are in Qingdao's Jimo district. Landsail reached the European market around 2010. Besides car tyres, Sentury also makes aircraft tyres: its range includes a Boeing 737 main landing gear tyre certified by the US aviation authority, the FAA.
Sentury is a listed company that sells tyres under the Landsail and Delinte names. Its factories are in Qingdao in China, Rayong in Thailand and Tangier in Morocco, where production began in 2024. The company is planning a further factory in Galicia, Spain. Landsail belongs to the budget price bracket. It suits drivers looking for a low-cost everyday tyre who don't drive in a particularly sporty way.
Landsail's winter range includes the Winter Lander and Winter Star. Popular summer tyres include the LS388 and LS588, whose UHP and SUV versions suit drivers with larger wheels or SUVs. The sportier summer tyre is the RapidDragon. The all-season range is called 4-Seasons, with the 4-Seasons 2 and 4-Seasons 3 as the newer models. Nordic studded tyres are not a highlight of the Landsail range.
