Davanti at a glance
Davanti is a young brand. It was unveiled in May 2015 at the Autopromotec trade fair in Bologna, Italy. The idea was simple: design the tyres in the UK and have them manufactured by partner factories. That way the company can offer a wide choice of sizes without owning a factory of its own. The first models were the DX640 and DX390. Winter tyres, all-season tyres and run-flat tyres followed later.
Davanti Tyres is based in Newton-le-Willows, between Liverpool and Manchester. According to the company, its tyres are made in Thailand, China and Cambodia. In 2025 it added the Protoura Sport Evo, the brand's first tyre made in Europe. Davanti sits in the budget and mid-range price brackets. The brand is aimed mainly at owners of sportier cars who want large wheel sizes at an affordable price. In the UK, Davanti is also visible in motorsport, for example as tyre supplier to the Mini Challenge series.
Davanti's summer flagship is the Protoura Sport, with the Protoura Race for track days. For everyday driving Davanti offers the DX640, the DX740 for SUVs and the Ecoura HP1 for more economical motoring. Davanti winter tyres go by the name Wintoura: the Wintoura, Wintoura+ and Wintoura SUV. These are Central European winter tyres. For year-round driving there is the Alltoura 4-Seasons. For SUVs and 4x4s there is the Terratoura range.
